The Board of Directors of the San Benito County Water District convened in Special Session. Directors Ken Perry, John Tobias and James DeLaCruz were present together with District Manager/Engineer John S. Gregg, District Counsel David Pipal and Deputy District Engineer Jeff Cattaneo.
a. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag
Vice President Perry called the meeting to order and led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
1. Authorization for Manager to Issue Purchase Order to SCADA Technologies for San Felipe Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition System (SCADA) in an Amount not to Exceed $120,392.00
Deputy District Engineer Cattaneo explained the procedure that was followed to obtain the quote from SCADA Technologies. He stated that Staff is requesting authorization to issue a Purchase Order to SCADA Technologies in the amount not to exceed $120,392.00 for the purchase of a San Felipe Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition System (SCADA). Upon a motion duly made, seconded and unanimously carried, authorization was given to issue a Purchase Order in the amount not to exceed $120,392.00.
2. Consider Resolution Ordering District Election, Requesting Election Services and Authorizing Payment Therefore
District Manager/Engineer Gregg gave a brief report on this Resolution. Upon a motion duly made, seconded and unanimously passed Resolution No. 2002-12 was adopted.

The Board adjourned to a Regular Meeting to be held on July 31, 2002 at 7:30 p.m., 30 Mansfield Road, Hollister, California.
