7:30 p.m.
The Board of Directors of the San Benito County Water District convened in Special Session. Directors Gary Gonzales, Bob Swanson, Douglas Keck, Ken Perry and John Tobias were present together with District Manager/Engineer John S. Gregg, District Counsel David Pipal, and Administrative Services Officer Janet L. Torres.

President Tobias called the meeting to order and led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.

Input
President Tobias opened and closed the public hearing portion of the meeting, hearing no comment from the public.
1. Review and Discussion of Water Supplies,
Water Resources and Groundwater Management Issues
District Manager/Engineer Gregg reviewed the San Benito County Groundwater Management Plan Issues and Actions.
Director Gonzales asked if the groundwater quality had changed within the last 40 to 50 years. District Manager/Engineer Gregg stated according to the records there is not an enormous difference between then and now.
President Tobias stated that the discharge water from water treatment plants might increase groundwater in other areas. District Manager/Engineer Gregg stated he would change the wording to address that issue.
District Manager/Engineer Gregg stated he would insert the issue of waste and wastewater disposal to the top of the list at the request of the Board.
District Manager/Engineer Gregg stated he would write up the additions and changes to the Groundwater Management Issues and route them to the Directors for review.
