5:30 p.m.

          The Board of Directors of the San Benito County Water District convened in Special Session. Directors Wm. Rupert, John Tobias, Ken Perry, Gary Gonzales, were present together with District Manager/Engineer John S. Gregg, District Counsel David Pipal, Engineer Jeff Cattaneo and Administrative Services Officer Janet L. Torres.

a.       Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag

President Perry called the meeting to order and led the pledge of allegiance to the flag.

b.       Public Input

President Perry opened and closed the Public Input portion of the meeting hearing no input from the public.

REGULAR AGENDA

1.       AUTHORIZATION TO TRANSFER 2,000 ACRE FEET OF MUNICIPAL AND INDUSTRIAL WATER THROUGH THE WATER GROUP

District Manager/Engineer John S. Gregg presented the request. Upon motion duly made, seconded and unanimously passed, authorization was given to the District Manager/Engineer to process the transfer.

2.      REVIEW PAJARO RIVER WATERSHED JOINT POWERS AUTHORITY MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING AND DIRECT DISTRICT REPRESENTATIVES

          District Manager/Engineer John S. Gregg stated this item was placed on the Agenda in anticipation of an MOU, but the Pajaro River Watershed Joint Powers Authority committee could not come to an agreement so this item is not needed.

          The vote of the Board was as follows, unless otherwise stated:

          The Board adjourned to a Regular Meeting to be held on December 22, 1999 at 7:30 p.m., 30 Mansfield Road, Hollister, California.
