RESOLUTION 2001 – 03
A RESOLUTION OF
THE SAN BENITO COUNTY WATER DISTRICT
ESTABLISH A POLICY
FOR
INTER-SUBSYSTEM
WATER TRANSFERS FOR THE
2000–2001 CONTRACT
WATER YEAR.
WHEREAS, Resolution 2001–03 anticipated that the District would receive an allocation of 65% Agricultural water and 85% Municipal and Industrial water from the Bureau of Reclamation, and
WHEREAS, The District’s agricultural water allocation from the U. S. Bureau of Reclamation for 2001–2002 is 45%.
NOW THEREFORE the Board of Directors of the San Benito County Water District hereby resolves that:
Item 6 of Resolution 2001–03 is amended to read as follows:
6. Inter-subsystem transfers into Subsystems 1, 1A, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10 and 11 shall be permitted to an amount not exceeding the amount of initial requests for 2001-2002 not fulfilled by the District’s final allocation within each of the respective subsystems. Inter-subsystem transfer requests into these subsystems shall be handled on a proportionate basis during the month of June and on a first come first served basis after June. The basis for proportioning inter-subsystem transfers shall be on the receiving parties initial requests for 2001-2002.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION was adopted at a regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the San Benito County Water District held on May 30, 2001 by the following vote:
