WHEREAS, Richard F. "Dick" Rautmann served the San Benito County Water District from April 1, 1982 until his retirement in June 1998, and

WHEREAS, after working as a contractor to the District during construction of the San Felipe Distribution System, Mr. Rautmann assumed responsibilities as Chief of Operations for the District and continued in that responsible role until his retirement, and

WHEREAS, his service has seen the construction, startup and successful operation of a major water import and distribution system as well ongoing Operation and Maintenance of other District facilities including Hernandez and Paicines Reservoir, and

WHEREAS, Mr. Rautmann’s service has been one of personal sincerity, integrity and dedication to the customers and employees of the District.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Directors of the San Benito County Water District hereby proclaims its appreciation to Mr. Rautmann for his service and his commitment and contribution to the Hollister Conduit and the San Felipe Distribution System, the District and the County wishes Dick the best of luck in his retirement.

THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION was adopted at a regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the San Benito County Water District held on June 24, 1998 by the following vote:
